On February 4, 2014, John M. Grantland, Esq. was guest teacher at the University of South Carolina School of Law at the request of Circuit Judge James R. Barber. John assisted Judge Barber in his Trial Advocacy class and gave a presentation on Opening Statements. On another note, it was a cold, rainy afternoon, so John gave his parking space to his trusty paralegal, Brenda, and then gave Judge Barber a ride home.

Paralegal Brenda L. Wilson also was a guest speaker at the University of South Carolina School of Law at the request of attorney/instructor Shannon Furr Bobertz to speak to her Civil Litigation paralegal students. Brenda confirmed that John was a gentleman and gave up his reserved parking for her. She wanted to thank him again for being such a gentleman. (Thanks John!)
