Congratulations to Partner Phil Florence on his recent winning verdict in an auto accident case. Florence represented an insurance company as the UIM carrier with policy limits of $1,2000.000. The insurance company offered $500,000 to settle the case but the Plaintiff refused. Along with providing two medical expert witnesses, the Plaintiff boarded 1.1 million dollars in actual damages and requested that the jury award millions in punitive damages and pain and suffering. After a 4-day trial, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the defendant and awarded zero damages to the plaintiff.
