Legal Assistance for Survivors of Trafficking South Carolina (LAST-SC) is a network of multidisciplinary attorneys across South Carolina who provide high-quality pro bono legal representation for survivors. Through a case-by-case model, attorneys works to secure justice for individual clients and to shape a justice system in our state that works for survivors of trafficking.
The group’s leadership team includes Murphy & Grantland attorney Elliott Daniels, who has been a member of the S.C. Human Trafficking Task Force since 2012, where he serves as Chair of the Legal Innovation Subcommittee, as well as Tricia Ravenhorst (S.C. Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault), Jamie Lea Shoen (U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of S.C.), Hannah Rogers Metcalfe (Metcalfe & Atkinson), Jack Cohoon (S.C. Legal Services) and Matthew Couvillion (Wyche law firm).
In his private practice, Elliott defends businesses, individuals and insurance companies in a wide variety of civil matters. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
