Murphy & Grantland earns Palmetto Award of Excellence
Columbia – The South Carolina Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators presented Murphy & Grantland with an Award of Excellence at the group’s annual Palmetto Awards show on November 2.
The civil defense firm launched its “Erasing Risk” campaign in early 2017. The image-driven messaging coveys M&G’s commitment to helping clients reduce the risk of being sued initially and ultimately the risk of an adverse settlement.
“Whether it’s training retail businesses about their on-site liability issues or making law about what is covered or not covered in automobile policies, the attorneys here are all about risk aversion,” said Kevin Floyd the firm’s Director of Marketing and Communications. “The erasing risk image captures that perfectly.”
The IABC/SC Palmetto Award is the latest in a string of honors for Murphy & Grantland in 2017. In the spring, John M. Grantland earned this year’s “Worthy Adversary Award” from the South Carolina Association for Justice. And, later this month Anthony W. Livoti will be installed as President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association.
