Seth Banister

Associate

Seth Banister is an associate attorney with Murphy & Grantland. He represents clients in a range of defense matters, including general litigation, premises liability, and accidents involving trucks and automobiles.

A proud graduate of Presbyterian College, Seth earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology, graduating summa cum laude. While at PC, Seth had the honor of receiving the Joseph O. Nixon leadership award.

He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and earning induction into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Bar and was fortunate enough to receive seven CALI awards.

Outside of work, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife, Kenzie, watching basketball, and playing pickleball.
