Peter Farr is a shareholder with Murphy & Grantland. He focuses his legal practice in the areas of general litigation defense, insurance defense, nonprofit & church liability, premises liability as well as trucking & automobile defense.
Originally from Greenville, S.C., Peter received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, cum laude, from Bob Jones University, where he played soccer and was a member of the Tuba/Euphonium Choir. Peter obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he was articles editor of the South Carolina Law Review, in which he authored an article dealing with the state sales tax as applied to manufacturers. He was also a panelist at the Annual Conference of the National Conference of Law Reviews, and he was invited to join the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court.
Peter and his wife Ann Marie have a son and daughter. Peter enjoys sports, history, and traveling with his family.
