Jesse Ochoa

Associate

Jesse Ochoa is an associate with Murphy & Grantland. His practice focuses on general litigation defense, insurance defense, premises liability, and trucking & automobile defense. Jesse brings experience practicing law in both Florida and North Carolina.

Jesse is competitive by nature and driven to achieve successful outcomes for his clients. He prides himself on clear, timely communication and believes clients should be informed and confident at every stage of their case. He prioritizes being accessible and responsive, so clients always understand where their case stands and what to expect next.

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jesse received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. While at FIU, he was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and he coached girls’ and boys’ volleyball at the high school level.

Jesse earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law. During law school, he served as an assistant coach for the St. Thomas University Women’s Volleyball Program, a Comments & Articles Editor for Law Review, a board member of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Outside of the office, Jesse enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with his family, especially cheering for the Carolina Panthers and the Florida Gators. Jesse and his family are active parishioners at St. Mark Catholic Church.
