Anna Lynn Moore

Anna Lynn Moore is a business-focused attorney who brings the perspective of an in-house legal partner to her work with clients. A native of Cameron, South Carolina, Anna Lynn understands that effective legal counsel requires not only technical excellence, but also a practical appreciation of how businesses operate and make decisions.

Anna Lynn earned her undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies and Chinese from Dartmouth College, where she graduated cum laude. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Anna Lynn was a member of Wig and Robe and served on the South Carolina Law Review. She also completed a dual degree program, earning her M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business.

After graduate school, Anna Lynn spent more than eight years in-house at Cigna Corporation and its subsidiaries. During that time, she developed a strong ability to anticipate business needs and provide legal guidance that supports strategic goals. She regularly negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements, including utilization review client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, business associate agreements, SaaS agreements, and other service and vendor contracts.

Anna Lynn also worked on Cigna’s regulatory team, advising on complex regulatory issues affecting utilization review, insurance, and pharmacy benefit managers across Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and federal lines of business. This experience gave her a deep foundation in healthcare law, as well as a practical understanding of how regulatory requirements impact day-to-day business operations. While Anna Lynn has extensive healthcare experience, she approaches legal issues in a way that readily translates to clients across industries.

Outside the office, Anna Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Christian, and their two daughters. They are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Columbia. In her free time, Anna Lynn enjoys reading a good novel and bringing people together by hosting gatherings for friends and family.
