Murphy & Grantland is passionate about defending our educators, so that they can focus on educating our children.
Partners Phillip Florence, Jr. and Jeffrey Kull have teamed up to provide legal services to South Carolina schools, both public and private. They have experience handling a variety of legal challenges that commonly confront schools, including claims brought under Title IX, Title VII, section 1983, the Americans with Disability Act, the South Carolina Tort Claims Act, the South Carolina Teacher Employment and Dismissal Act, and the South Carolina School Building Closure Act. These cases can often be complex and require experienced legal counsel to conduct detailed investigation, strategy, and research to provide competent representation to their client. Both Florence and Kull are experienced litigators and enjoy providing their clients with clarity, direction and quality representation in dealing with these types of complex matters with Education Law.
