Alexis Vitali Blitch has joined the law firm of Murphy & Grantland, P.A. as an associate attorney. Her practice will focus on a variety of insurance defense and insurance coverage matters. Prior to joining Murphy Grantland, Alexis served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John C. Hayes, III, of the 16th Circuit.

A Columbia native, Alexis earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina. Following graduation, she worked with the Internet Crimes Against Children division of the S.C. Attorney General’s Office before attending the Charlotte School of Law, where she was graduated Magna Cum Laude.

During law school, Alexis was the Editor-in-Chief of the Charlotte Law Review, a Charlotte Law Ambassador, and a member of Phi Delta Phi and Order of the Crown honor societies. She was also a participant in the Presidential Honors Program and an extern for the Honorable Graham C. Mullen, Senior Judge of the Western District of North Carolina. She lives in Irmo with her husband, William Blitch, Jr., and daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
