One of our maxims is ‘No amount of success at work will make up for failure at home.’ That includes a healthy life away from the office and includes activities that bring you fulfillment — that do some good in the world … We went down to New Orleans the years after Katrina, just the lawyers, we sweated in the hazmat suits clearing out some town-homes … it was good for us to bond and good to do something that helped somebody.
